That was One Heck of a Farewell Party

So as planned, I went to our college Farewell Party. Started off in our car, with mom (to drop her at work), picked @Jithoot on the way and reached the men’s hostel. Well, that’s not where the party is, but you probably know that every activity in college starts off from the hostel.

The hostel didn’t have the usual serenity or the lets-have-a-drink-and-watch-a-movie-and-sleep mood. Everyone was running around digging up rotten records that dates back to 2006, our first year and packing bags. Everyone had to vacate the college hostel by 1o am today.

College is Done With. Whats Next?

At 12.30 IST, today, I am officially out of college. Exams just got over today.

It was a Phone Calls Day after that; the moment I came out of the exam hall, @KenneyJacob called. I got calls from many people, Dad called and said Congrats. Then an old friend called. We hadn’t talked for over a year, well, now she has a baby.

It Was Never About The Bike

I decided to find out and started reading Lance Amstrong’s Journey Back to Life. I hadn’t read a book in over a year, in fact, the last book I read was “Blog Blazers by Stephane Grenier” and I completed reading it on 22nd April 09. Man, that’s a year ago.

The book is about his life so there is definitely lot of Bike-ing in this one. More than that, the book is about he being a cancer patient, about how he got over it, about the most wonderful people he met in his life, about how he had his baby and how he won the Tour de France.

500 Days of Summer and 1 Day of Autumn

It was the engagement of one of my good friends sister (Peter Paul Pittappillil) which was good for the food (3 course with a wide array of deserts), meeting up with my school mates and the real part, picking up all the ‘eves’ from around the party (the collection was great) and that’s three sets of (bracket) in a ridiculously long sentence.

To double the awesomeness, instead of diving deep into my Sunday Sleep-of-the-Week, I decided to watch a movie and picked (500) Days of Summer.
