It Was Never About The Bike

I decided to find out and started reading Lance Amstrong’s Journey Back to Life. I hadn’t read a book in over a year, in fact, the last book I read was “Blog Blazers by Stephane Grenier” and I completed reading it on 22nd April 09. Man, that’s a year ago.

The book is about his life so there is definitely lot of Bike-ing in this one. More than that, the book is about he being a cancer patient, about how he got over it, about the most wonderful people he met in his life, about how he had his baby and how he won the Tour de France.

500 Days of Summer and 1 Day of Autumn

It was the engagement of one of my good friends sister (Peter Paul Pittappillil) which was good for the food (3 course with a wide array of deserts), meeting up with my school mates and the real part, picking up all the ‘eves’ from around the party (the collection was great) and that’s three sets of (bracket) in a ridiculously long sentence.

To double the awesomeness, instead of diving deep into my Sunday Sleep-of-the-Week, I decided to watch a movie and picked (500) Days of Summer.

Saying Yes to No

One of the Skills I developed lately is the skill to say NO.

I have been a YES Man for a long part of my life. I could never say No when anyone asks me anything, especially the ones who love me and the ones whom I love.

Give it a thought, if you just said YES to everything, you are not making choices. The choice is already made. That isn’t fair. I thought Life was about choices.
