When you say the TJY was gruelling what does it mean? Was it from comfort point of view – bathrooms, beds, food – or was the schedule very tight? Please fill me in as I want to go on the yatra but am skeptical
    • Arun Basil Lal replied:
You are in a train with a whole bunch of strangers with no personal space eating a foreign vegetarian cuisine. After the first week or so you start to feel it. By the time you are done, you just want to go home and so did many of my co travelers. Bathrooms are neat and the schedule is okay. Just don’t expect it to be a vacation. Its an adventure and all adventures are exhausting.
