Moi New Collection

I have collected many things. The first one I remember started when I was in my third standard, it was Match Box covers then. I have collected Coins, Stamps, Currencies, Badges, Tatoos, Medals and what not, even Bus Tickets.

Now its time for another one. Being part of Smiley, I get to travel a lot and stay in different hotels across Kerala. As a reminder of the place, I have started taking mementos home from those hotels.

Mementos can be anything that has the name of the hotel printed on it. Could be Match Boxes, Shampoo bottles, Soaps or even tissue papers.

Moi New Collection

I have a shoe box at my home where I store these things. I hope it would be so much fun when I have a lot of them.

p.s: I am still doing the One-Pic-A-Day Project to the best I can.

p.p.s: The word ‘Moi’ was inspired from @Andrine_Mendez who uses it often in his tweets.

    What currencies have u collected? (My collection is mostly old Aus currency that’s not in circulation anymore.)
    Collections r fascinating – tell me more… Hmmm, u cld probably write a whole series on ur various collections 😀

      My dad worked in a company where people from different places would come. So I have currencies of atleast 15 countries I think and a nice collection of Indian currencies too 🙂
      I could do that, only wish I had my match box collection with me. Mom burned that one 🙁

    Nice collection – got ay Aussie money?
    Hmmm, when u say “burned” do u mean kind of like a bonfire… or that she used the matches up starting fires when she wanted them?

      Nope, no aussie money, got a new zealand though. She burnt it like a bonfire, yes, while we shifted homes. Was pretty angry to her then.
